With this Picture Day Creative Writing Activity, students write a funny thing that happened to them before picture day (Most will be made up stories). Then they draw the incident in the frame. **We always read “Picture Perfect?” by Fletcher Walker Elementary Students (book bought through Scholastic). The book is absolutely precious, and helps the students think about silly things that could happen before picture day. (I cut my own bangs, my grandma dressed me, my brother accidentally hit me, I got braces, I blinked… etc.) You don’t need the book to work on this activity, but I always do. 🙂
