10.  Word Family Word Work -AN 

If you are looking for a fun way for students to practice word families, try out my -an unit.  

This product comes with all of the below for each word family:

• 2 sheets for homework binder to practice at home (words and fluency sentences)
• 1 reading passage (covers comprehension and writing)
• Elkonin sheet that students work on during baseball ppt.
• 1 sheet for writing the word if it belongs in that word family
• 1 sheet that deals with substitution of letters to make new words
• ABC order
• Scrambled letters to make the word
• Cut up sentences (for center activities) – Students work in pairs. Each group has a packet of words that match the sentences that we are practicing for the week. The dump the words out, and then race the other group to make as many sentences as possible.
