Phonics Blends Flashcards

These Phonics Blends Flashcards are sure to help your students with blends and digraphs.  This is a printable and digital resource. Each flashcard comes with two of the same sound on the page and then the explanation/chant with words on the back. The explanation comes in handy with student teachers or new teachers who are not sure of all of the "rules". I can honestly say it has helped my student teachers and myself, as well as new teachers to first grade.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Were you one of the lucky ones that actually got trained on how to teach sounds?  Are you an even luckier one that actually has a program that helps you teach these concepts?  If you said yes to both – I’m jealous!  We were NOT trained, and so we have compiled these flashcards to help us help our students.  These come from 15 years of trying to figure it out!  FINALLY… I can say we have a system that WORKS!
