Magnet Tiles Task Cards, Summer Light Table Activities

Magnet tile task cards get a sunny upgrade with these Summer-Themed Magnet Tile Building Cards, designed to bring hands-on, screen-free learning to math centers, STEM stations, and light table activities. Kids use their magnetic tiles to recreate summer scenes like sandcastles, beach balls, popsicles, fish, pineapples, and more, matching shapes and colors to the picture on each card.

Each card includes a shape key so builders know exactly which pieces to gather before they start. A matching recording sheet lets kids count shapes and colors ahead of time, sneaking in meaningful math practice before the building even begins. These cards work with the magnetic tile sets most classrooms already have, so there is nothing extra to buy.

HOW IT WORKS:

• Kids look at the finished picture on the card and identify the shapes needed
• They gather the correct magnetic tiles by shape and color
• They build to match the card, adjusting and comparing as they go
• Optional recording sheets add a counting and shape recognition component

• Spatial awareness and visual thinking
