What are Boom Cards?

Boom Cards are digital task cards that are housed on a platform called wow.boomlearning.com.  These are different from Google Slides because they are self-checking, self-paced, and super engaging.  You can pay to have an account, (under $30 a YEAR) or you can get a free account and use the fast-pin to share the decks with your students.  You can share through Google Classroom or any other way you typically share a link with your students.  The fast-pin is great, but if you want to track data, then the paid version might be for you.

I would suggest you try a few decks first, then once you see how amazing they are, $30 a year might seem pretty doable.  We actually called administration in to watch how Boom works, and to see how engaged our students were with Boom. As a result, they ended up buying our accounts for us! To summarize, they thought Boom was as amazing as we did!

What is needed:

To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards). Fast Play is always a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options you'll need a premium account. If you are new to Boom Learning, you will be offered a free trial of our premium account. Read here for details: http://bit.ly/BoomTrial.

You may be eligible for a free trial from Boom Learning. Read here for details: http://bit.ly/BoomTrial. If you choose not to stay on a premium account after your free trial, you will still be able to assign all your Boom Cards to as many students as you see fit using Fast Play pins (which give instant feedback for decks that are self-grading).

HEAR FROM OTHERS ABOUT THE BUNDLE: 📢

  • My class loves using BOOM cards and I've gone through all of my old K ones. I needed something more challenging for my first graders and they are having a blast!

  • This bundle had so many options available for students to practice and learn! I also love how I can track student learning and progress!

  • Thank you for this resource. This was really helpful during ESY as I have never taught CDC before and this resource was a lifesaver.

  • BOOM CARDS!!! My students absolutely love boom cards. These are creative and fun for my students to work independently.

  • My ESY students loved being able to interact and work these cards. I love the variety of units and the graphics and layout are great.

  • Boom Card Decks are what my kids go to first for their distance learning. They love them!!! This resource has so many different cards that go along with so many math curriculum expectations. If you didn't get this resource, run don't walk!!!!!!! I will be using it for distance learning next year if we have to but it will be great for math centers as well in the classroom.

I purchased this deck to go along with my other bundles by you…it didn’t disappoint! My students LOVE your boom cards and I LOVE that they thinking they are playing instead of practicing their math skills! The decks are easy to use, the graphics keep the students engaged, and I love the instant feedback that the students receive using your boom decks. Boom Cards have become my secret math weapon! THANK YOU!
