Short A CVC Words Coding Robot Mat Printable Activity

Practice short A CVC words with a hands-on coding activity that gets young learners reading, thinking, and programming. Students read a task card, find the matching picture on the mat, and code their coding robot to travel to the correct answer.

This printable mat pairs early phonics with beginner coding skills, so literacy centers feel like a game. Please note that the coding robot is not included. Teachers use the programmable coding robot they already have in their classroom.
