Pattern Block Mats, Spring & Winter Animal Shapes Activity
Pattern block mats give first graders a hands-on way to explore geometry by building composite shapes from colorful manipulatives. This spring and winter animal shapes activity covers the 1.G.A.2 standard, guiding students to compose two-dimensional shapes such as triangles, trapezoids, squares, rectangles, half-circles, and quarter-circles into recognizable pictures.
With over 80 unique image mats spanning farm animals, ocean animals, safari animals, vehicles, seasonal items, and more, this set offers enough variety to keep centers fresh all year long. Two versions are included, one with the standard printed on the mat and one without, so teachers can choose what works best for their classroom setup.
