Kippy the Kangaroo Take Home Classroom Journal

KIPPY THE KANGAROO TAKE HOME CLASSROOM JOURNAL

Make your Kippy routine meaningful, organized, and easy to manage.

This take-home journal is designed for teachers using the Kippy the Kangaroo books and a classroom kangaroo plush. Each week, Kippy goes home with a student, along with this journal—to document their time together.

Students and families can draw, write, and reflect on their experience with Kippy, creating a consistent and engaging home-school connection.

HOW IT WORKS:

• Send Kippy (your stuffed kangaroo) home with one student
• Include this journal in the take-home bag
• Families record their child’s experience with Kippy
• Return and share with the class

WHY TEACHERS LOVE IT:

• Builds excitement around your Kippy routine
• Reinforces social-emotional skills from the Kippy books
• Encourages family involvement
• Keeps all student responses organized in one place
• Creates a special classroom keepsake

Designed specifically for classrooms already using the Kippy the Kangaroo books and weekly take-home routine.

PERFECT FOR:

• K–2 classrooms
• SEL instruction
• Building self-control and decision-making skills
