Dinosaur STEM Task Cards, Morning Soft Start Activities

Dinosaur STEM task cards make soft start mornings simple, structured, and genuinely engaging for young learners. Designed for use with hashtag blocks or waffle blocks, these cards guide kids through building dinosaur-themed designs step by step, giving them something purposeful and hands-on to settle into right from the moment they walk through the door.

Low-prep and ready to use after a quick print, these cards work beautifully as morning soft start activities, STEM center rotations, indoor recess options, or early finisher tasks. Building with interlocking blocks keeps little hands busy, supports energy regulation after drop-off, and builds foundational STEM skills in a way that feels more like play than schoolwork.
