Coding robot Christmas activities make it easy to introduce beginner coding while students practice counting to 10 and comparing items. Kids read a task card, find the matching picture on the grid, and program their coding robot to travel to the right spot.

Designed for use with the programmable coding robot you already have in your classroom, this festive math and coding center keeps young learners engaged through the holiday season. The coding robot and the plastic grid mat are not included.

• 24 Christmas picture cards to build a 4x6 grid
• Answer document so students can check their work after the coding robot reaches its location

HOW THIS WORKS:

• Lay out the 24 picture cards in a 4x6 grid on your plastic mat
• Students choose a task card and find the matching picture on the grid
• They plan the path and program the coding robot to move to the correct picture
• Students record each movement on the coding sheet
• They check the answer document to see if the coding robot landed in the right place
