Coding Robot Building Riddle Map Activity for K-2 Robotics

Make coding meaningful with a coding robot riddle map activity that sends students on a trip through town. They read riddles about community buildings like the school, firehouse, and ice cream shop, then program their coding robot to move to the correct location on the grid.

This hands-on task blends STEM skills, critical thinking, and reading comprehension. It works well for centers, tech time, or cross-curricular lessons in kindergarten through 2nd grade. Teachers use the programmable coding robot they already have. The coding robot and the plastic mat are not included.
