1st Grade I Can Statements Jungle Themed
If you are in need of 1st Grade I can Statements Jungle Themed, this is a great resource that will allow you to have functional I CAN statements that match your classroom decor. These cover ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies.
Our district requires us to have I Can statements showing in our classroom at all times. I found it easier to have these cards to pull from, instead of writing them out daily. One year I used a pocket chart to display, and another year I used magnets on the back of the cards and put them on our board. These are small enough to display several, but big enough for students to read. These follow the standards, but have an I CAN statement that 1st graders will understand.

For me – creating is my outlet. I absolutely love creating classroom decor. If I could travel around the world and work with teachers to create their dream classroom, I would totally do it! That would be my dream job, for sure! I love organizing and I love themes! I've had many themes over the years, but my last one has lasted the longest - it's just a color theme so that I can do anything I want with it!
