Counting Coins Coding Robot Mat St. Patrick’s Day Math

Counting coins coding robot activities turn money practice into a hands-on adventure! This St. Patrick's Day themed printable mat gives first and second grade students a fun way to count pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters up to 40 cents while getting their first taste of coding.

Students count each set of coins, find the matching amount on the pot of gold, and then program their coding robot to travel to the correct answer. Please note that the coding robot and the plastic mat are not included. Teachers use the programmable coding robot they already have in their classroom.

• They flip to the answer document to check their work
