These worksheets cover:

• student will be shown tens and ones - they will need to fill in the place value chart, complete the number bond, and complete the number sentence
• students will practice drawing quick tens and ones to solve a math problem. They will also need to complete the place value chart
• students will be shown a math sentence (example 22 + 8) - they will need to write two addition sentences, complete a number bond that helps them solve, and fill in the place value chart.

Main Standards Covered:

• 1.NBT.C.4 Add within 100, including adding a two-digit number and a one-digit number, and adding a two-digit number and a multiple of 10, using concrete models or drawings and strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction; relate the strategy to a written method and explain the reasoning used. Understand that in adding two-digit numbers, one adds tens and tens, ones and ones; and sometimes it is necessary to compose a ten.
